Standard wearing method for disposable medical gloves
The proper wearing of disposable medical gloves is crucial for preventing cross-infection and ensuring protective effectiveness. It is applicable in medical diagnosis and treatment, as well as in hygiene protection scenarios. The specific steps are as follows:
Before wearing, prepare by washing hands and drying them, checking if the glove packaging is intact and within the valid period, and confirming that the glove model and material are suitable for the usage scenario. Then, open the packaging, avoiding contact with the contaminated areas on the outside of the gloves.
When wearing, first extend one hand into the glove, with the fingertips facing towards the glove's finger opening, and slowly stretch it to fit the hand, ensuring there are no wrinkles. Then, with the hand that is already wearing the glove, pinch the edge of the other glove and avoid touching the inner side. Insert the other hand and adjust the fit.
After wearing, it is necessary to check the integrity of the gloves, ensuring there are no damages, no leakage, and no looseness when they fit the hand. If the gloves are damaged or contaminated during wearing, they must be replaced immediately and re-worn following the steps. During the wearing process, avoid touching non-work areas at will to ensure that the protection remains effective.
